Our Members

This page contains contact information for all the active Committee Members from each region of the American Burn Association as well as the members of the Occupational & Physical Therapist Special Interest Group.

The utilization of the American Burn Association's Regional designation was based on the initial intent of capturing therapist representatives from the entire United States and Canada so that we would interact at all levels and with representation of different hospital settings and facility structures. We have maintained this design even though the ABA has dissolved this system as of 2004. As this web site has evolved, Ibelieve that we will be actively searching for additional members in other states as well as from other burn facilities within similar states so that we can truly represent every member of the Occupational and Physical Therapy Special Interest Group and then expand to represent international hospitals and clinicians worldwide.

All of these founding members have been instrumental not only in the in the development of this web site and award since it was first conferred in 2002 but are prolific clinicians, researchers, educators, mentors and friends that are dedicated to furthering burn research and collaboration. In addition to the founding members, current burn clinicians continue to support the efforts of this educational format.

If you are not familiar with any of these individuals, I strongly encourage you to take the time to contact the representative from your region as well as any other members. We are here to serve as a resource and support to the advancement of therapist driven research.

We have also the latest burn therapist resource listing for the Occupational & Physical Therapy Special Interest Group which was updated in January 2008. Please review this list and make updates as often as needed.
