Shriners Hospital for Children - Galveston, Texas

We are a progressive specialty hospital located on scenic, historic Galveston Island on the Gulf of Mexico. Our hospital provides medical treatment and rehabilitation to children with burn injuries. We are looking for a full-time physical therapist that is interested in burn care and rehabilitation. We offer placement for students and encourage our staff to develop their skills to provide the best clinical treatment, education and research.

Our patients receive comprehensive burn rehabilitation along the continuum of care from the acute throughout the rehabilitation phase in a family centered environment. Our work week is 40 hours and some weekend work and occasional travel to outreach clinics in the U.S. and Mexico are required. Choctaw Management is currently seeking Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assts., Occupational Therapists, and Certified Occupational Therapy Assts. for the Institute of Surgical Research (burn center) at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX.

Physical Therapist must have a minimum of 5 years experience in physical therapy rehabilitation. Experience and training emphasis in manual therapy, orthopedic, geriatric, neurological and acute inpatient care is required. The Department of Rehabilitation Therapies at the University Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is looking for a full time Physical Therapist or Senior Physical Therapist to provide acute burn/trauma inpatient care. The successful candidate will provide care to adult and pediatric patients with a variety of complex medical conditions. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s degree in another field and a Physical Therapy Certificate is required for Physical Therapist. A Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or a Master’s degree in another field and a Physical Therapy certificate is desirable for Senior Physical Therapist. Experience: Reasonable (1-3 years) experience in PT is desirable for Physical Therapist. Reasonable (1-3 years) experience in PT with a high degree of understanding and skill in one or more areas of assigned responsibility, including demonstrated clinical education abilities and leadership is required for Senior Physical Therapist. Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners is required.

Physical therapy position on Burn Center at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Full time physical therapist opening at Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH) Burn Center. The Burn Center at ACH is the only Burn enter in Arkansas so patients are both adults and children. This position would also have the opportunity to float to the medical surgical area and rehab unit.
