Wishard is a Level 1 Trauma Center with a state-of-the-art Regional Burn Center. The Department of Rehabilitation Therapies at the University Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is looking for a full time Physical Therapist or Senior Physical Therapist to provide acute burn/trauma inpatient care. The successful candidate will provide care to adult and pediatric patients with a variety of complex medical conditions. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s degree in another field and a Physical Therapy Certificate is required for Physical Therapist. A Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or a Master’s degree in another field and a Physical Therapy certificate is desirable for Senior Physical Therapist. Experience: Reasonable (1-3 years) experience in PT is desirable for Physical Therapist. Reasonable (1-3 years) experience in PT with a high degree of understanding and skill in one or more areas of assigned responsibility, including demonstrated clinical education abilities and leadership is required for Senior Physical Therapist.
